Monica and I went down the river Saturday although the radar showed solid green all across Wakulla. It sprinkled about half of the way and then began raining hard as we got near the boat ramp at the end of the plantation. Monica made sandwiches and it was nice eating lunch while just drifting! Even a rainy day on the river is fun as long as there is no lightening!
We saw about 5 manatee. We saw this mom and her little one again. We think it is the same ones we have seen before. They are in the same area every trip. The little one is very friendly, it just swims toward the boat and looks at you.
