Hannah and Tripp named the turtle "Snappy." We made him a home with lots of dirt and water at the other end of the box. They were very excited to have Snappy, although I told them we would return him back to his real home soon.

Snappy, the new pet.
I found this small turtle crossing the road and brought him home for the kids.
